  1. I can't hear anything? What should I do?
  2. Why can't I rewind the show I am listening to?
  3. Why does the player window disappear?

I can't hear anything? What should I do?

1. Check that the correct Windows Media Player is installed on your computer. You can download the player for free from the Microsoft website, but make sure you download the correct version for your operating system. The link to download the software is at the top of this page.

2. If the status bar on the Radio Player above the user controls says "Playing", but you cannot hear any sound, check that your speakers are turned on and that the sound on your computer is not muted.

3. If you are at work, your company may have a 'firewall' enabled to securely protect its internal data. Sometimes your company's 'proxy' settings may be set in such a way that they prevent external streaming sources from occurring. If this is the case, please contact the IT department of your company.

4. Users of Mac OS X may need to run their browser in Classic mode.

Why can't I rewind the show I am listening to?

Due to copyright restrictions on the music we play, we are unable to offer the facility to rewind.

Why does the player window disappear?

The Crash.Net Radio Player is located in its own pop-up window. We have done this for your convenience, as it means you can continue to browse the Crash.Net website, or navigate to other sites on the internet while listening. This may mean that from time to time, this window may be covered up with new windows. It the Player window is not visible, you can relocate it by clicking on the "Crash.Net Radio" tab in your taskbar (this is normally located at the bottom of your screen).
