Competitors on April's Pirelli Historic Rally, the third round of the MSA British Historic Rally Championship, will be given the chance to play to the crowds next year on a brace of spectacular spectator stages.
Participants will appear 'live' in front of a large crowd on the event's two runs over the unique P-ZERO Spectator Stage, reckoned by many drivers to be the best venue of its kind in the country.
P-ZERO is a specially-constructed facility, situated in stately home-type surroundings in the countryside near Carlisle. The 1.7-mile course features some testing twists and turns, a high speed 'yump' and a watersplash, the depth of which can be altered to make its effect even more dramatic.
P-ZERO will also host the Pirelli International Rallyshow, featuring a wide selection of trade stands, static displays, the famous Pirelli simulator and various highlight attractions which in the past have seen such diverse acts as the Utterly Butterly Aero Display Team and the Eddie Stobart Dancing Girls.
“We're really looking forward to welcoming the historic rally crews to P-ZERO,” said a Pirelli Rally spokesman. “Their sideways style and wholehearted all-action approach is bound to make them firm favourites with the crowd.”
