Reigning Citroen C2R2 champion Jason Pritchard is appealing for help in the recovery of his ex-Richard Cathcart Subaru Impreza N11 after the car was stolen from family premises in Builth Wells over the weekend.

Pritchard, who used the N11, registration OU 55 DKN, on a selection of events in 2008 in order to gain experience of four-wheel drive, had recently put the car up for sale to help fund his plans for 2009.

Whilst exact details of the theft are not available until after the police have investigated the matter, the car was securely locked away on Saturday evening. When the premises were re-opened on Monday morning the discovery was made.

"When we came in this morning we immediately noticed that something was amiss," said Pritchard. "Both the Subaru and an open trailer have gone, along with some other bits and cash.

"The car should be immediately recognisable as it is still all liveried up in our North Road Garage colour scheme. This is really heart breaking as she was a great car, and we'd had some people really interested in her recently.

"I haven't even begun to think what this means for my season yet as my main priority is to try and recover the car."
