Ellis to debut new car

Wayne Ellis is to give his newly built clubman spec Peugeot 106 its competitive debut on the forthcoming Welsh International Rally, which takes place over the fearsome Epynt Military Ranges on Sunday 3rd of May.

Ellis, who runs a very successful graphics and design company in Welshpool, has unfinished business on the Epynt Ranges. After finishing eighth overall on his rallying debut the Complete Signs and Graphics backed driver has then failed to finish a single event over Epynt in four attempts.

“After all the hard work and effort that has gone into preparing the 106 my main aim this weekend is to finally finish a rally over Epynt,” he said. “That said we won't be tootling around and so will hopefully put on a bit of a show for the spectators!”

Ellis will be co-driven by John Tomley, who is well known on rallies as Zodiac Recovery.
