Having won both events held so far in the MSA British Rally Championship, Keith Cronin has revealed plans to take part in two events on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge later in the season.
The 22-year-old has announced that he hopes to take parting the final round of the season in Scotland, but also aims to contest at least one event before then on the schedule.
Cronin could take part in the events at the wheel of his current Mitsubishi Evo IX, although his preference would be to source a Super 2000 machine for his IRC outings.
“The Super 2000 car is the future of rallying at the moment so the more experience I get in one the better," e said. "I want to do the IRC when it comes to Scotland in November and I'm also planning another IRC round to get an understanding of the format of each event.
“But if I can't get to drive a Super 2000 car I will continue in my Mitsubishi Lancer. It will still be very competitive."
