Triple British Rally Champion Mark Higgins has signed up to compete in the 2010 CPC Legends Cars Series.
Higgins competed in three Legends races last season and has now purchased a car to race in the CPC UK Legends Championship events that don't clash with his commitments elsewhere.
“Legends racing is fantastic,” Higgins, who took three top six finishes at Pembrey last year, said. “There was a great atmosphere at the event, it's a great value for money championship and I absolutely loved it, even though I have a lot to learn.”
Higgins will be joined on the entry by former World Legends Champion John Mickel, who will juggle racing in the Legends with his NASCAR commitments in the United States.
“It's going to be a busy year with both the Legends and NASCAR racing,” he said, “I should earn some airmiles for sure! I love the Legends, they breed close racing, no-one clears off and there's always a cracking atmosphere in the pits. Bring it on!”
