MREC: 2010 winner to earn Cyprus drive

Series organisers reveal that the winner of the 2010 Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge will earn a drive on Rally Cyprus
Series organisers have revealed that the winners of the three 2010 Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge series' will secure a drive on Rally Cyprus.

The winner from the UK, Ireland and Sweden will win a supported drive on the Cypriot event, which will be the final round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge season in November.

The three winners will then go head-to-head on the event to become European Evolution Challenge Champion.

As part of the prize, the three winners will secure a free entry into Rally Cyprus as well as tyres and fuel and at least €1000 towards expenses. Logistical support has also been offered from the local importer for the brand, Fairways Mitsubishi, while further benefits could yet be offered – such as discounted accommodation, flights and ferries.

“The Cyprus Automobile Association and Fairways Mitsubishi were really intrigued with our plans for this year's prize and are very excited about getting our three winners over there,” series co-ordinator Simon Slade said. “Added to this, two of our key partners in the Evolution Challenge - Pirelli and Sunoco - have also pledged their support by supplying products, all of which goes towards making this a truly valuable package.”

2009 Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge title winner Daniel Barry picked up a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X RS for securing the crown.
