Jason Pritchard is all geared up for a busy fortnight as he targets strong results on two consecutive events in two very different rally cars.
The busy period begins when the MSA British Rally Elite man and his Welshpool based co-driver George Gwynn head north to Coniston to tackle the Coppermine Grizedale Stages in their Subaru Impreza N11.
This six special stage event marks their third rally in a row in the North Garage-backed Subaru and following a pair of top ten finishes he will be after another strong run this weekend.
However snow and ice are not unheard of on the Grizedale Stages, conditions that are sure to test the 20-year-olds skills to the max.
As soon as the pair finish the rally they will travel down to Cardiff to sign on and begin the pre-event recce for the most important event of the year, Wales Rally GB.
This, the World Rally Championship season finale, counts as the last two rounds of the Citroen C2R2 cup and with podiums on the last three rounds Pritchard has moved into the thick of the championship battle.
But as he found out last year, the Wales Rally GB is not an event to be underestimated.
"The Grizedale Stages should be good fun. There is no pressure and it is all about getting more experience in the 4 wheel drive Subaru," said Pritchard.
"I'm more confident heading to the Wales Rally GB this year too," he added. "We learnt a lot last year and hopefully should be able to put that to good effect next weekend."
