Alcaraz joins Pons
Aleix Alcaraz has not taken too long to find a new World Series by Renault seat after being snapped up by Pons Racing for this weekend's round at the Hungaroring.

The Spanish teenager was dropped by RC Motorsport this week in favour of Claudio Cantelli, but will instead see out the season with Pons. He will replace Maximo Cortes, the reigning Spanish Formula 3 Champion apparently hitting financial problems between the events.

At 18-years-old, Alcaraz is one of the youngest drivers on the grid, but he has started his tenure with race winners Pons Racing well during free practice in Hungary finishing 12th fastest overall and ahead of team-mate Marcos Martinez.
