Cooper, Centurion confirm TT return

Dan Cooper will ride a Honda and Triumph for Centurion Racing in the 2012 Isle of Man TT.
Centurion Racing has confirmed its entry to the 2012 Isle of Man TT, with Dan Cooper set to represent the team in the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock classes.

Cooper picked up four bronze replicas and a best lap time of 122.583mph during last year's Senior TT in what was only his second attempt at tackling the famous road course.

For 2012, Cooper will ride a Honda CBR1000RR in the Superbike and Superstock categories, as well as compete aboard a Triumph Daytona 675 for the Supersport races.

"After competing at the 2011 TT, I believe I'm still on a high as the adrenaline, excitement and the thrill of competing at the event will never leave me. I was delighted with the overall results last year in only my second attempt and was particularly pleased to lap at over 122mph in the Senior. I'm already in training and am looking forward to all five races with Centurion Racing."

Additionally, Centurion Racing will continue to show their support for Help for Heroes, their chosen charity, by displaying H4H logos on the bikes and team attire.

Team Principal Paul Rees, who spent 20 years in Her Majesty's Royal Marine Commandos, was given permission to have the bikes carry the H4H logos in order to encourage the public to be more aware of this charity that supports our Armed Forces, many of whom are making daily sacrifices in Afghanistan and Iraq.
