RR » Pearson will race on after Southern 100 crash


Michael Pearson, whose last lap crash in the 2010 Southern 100 Senior race brought out the red flag, has hit back at rumours about his injuries and confirmed he plans to race tonight.

The southern runs in all conditions to be honest. The difference between it and the TT is the Southern does not have the visability issues the TT does for the rescue helecopter. Also not as long as the TT so tyres do not come into play so much.

Yeah you are never more than 2 feet from a wall although the Southern does have a reasonable safety record.

George Peach and his team run a cracking meeting and everyone enjoys it.

Not called 'The Friendly Meeting' for nothing.

Brilliant circuit, I preferred racing it to the TT and had some of my best races there.
