Well, we're not in the year 2000, you pessimistic pratt. I doubt he would come out with a statement like that anyway! Totally agree that the guy is a legend & could ride the beastly 500 two stoke on the ragged edge. (He was the last rider to achieve pole the 500)! For the love of the sport is the reason I think you'll find he's taking part & good luck to him! I hope the event runs smoothly & Jezza enjoys his ride! There are some idiots about - That's the art of public road riding - spotting the idiot and giving them a wide berth.

i remember him calling for road racing to be banned in 2000, just after joey had his fatal accident. lost all respect for him after that on a personallity level

still admire his skill on a race bike tho

We have all said things that we might regret, It was a preety devastating time when Joey died.

Good on him for changing his mind and having a go.

It's a shame how some people focus on one or two negative events, and let them overshadow all the positive ones about a person, famous or otherwise. I enjoy watching Jeremy ride any bike, on the Harley recently for example, and can't wait to see him tear it up on the roads. If he's changed his opinion on road racing then good for him, and the fans!
