Farquhar is spot on, flags are flags, they are there for everyones safety.

@billobb - whilst Guy Martin is a legendary character Farquhar is Road Racing Royalty as far as success goes, so think you need to give Ryan some respect. As for the sore loser comment i'll go ahead and assume your a troll and not an idiot.

billobb your comments are choice. Guy who! What has he won!!!!!Ryan is the legend full stop? if you cannot ride in a race under the rules don't start the race! Rules are rules and flags at road racing are to ensure everyone's safety and are not to be ignored so get real on both counts!

It's riders like Guy Martin who will be the cause of racing on the roads banned, he has little or no respect for the safety of other competitors, the marshals or the fans. Legend? In his own tiny mind!

@ billobb

what you been smoking dude?

Guy Martin a legend? only is his and your imaginary world!
Guy has history of this, thinking he is above the rules and regulations put in place to protect riders and the future of road racing.

RR legend? Mr. Farquhar certainly is one

I'd just like to point out that guy martin himself has said that the reason he went road racing in the first place was that he had an issue with the stewards at a circuit race, where he'd been a naughty boy, so he went road racing. looks like he's trying to do it again, over Farquhar this time.

Guy hadn't rode his Superbike since the Ulster which is 8 months ago and still managed the fastest laps in both races. No matter what anyone says, Guy was the better rider on the day and was pulling him in during the 2nd race.

Ryan doesn't like to get beat and is a bad looser.
He has about 5-6 fans who all log onto the chat forums representing 100 people to make him look good but he's not well liked.

That's right boy! Go Guy!

@stringfellow,better rider on the day ,how do you work that one out?, coming from behind means the guy up front is faster than you,and passing someone under a yellow to get a win is cheatin, and dangerous, on a tight track, someone cudda been layin on the road gettin medical attention,we have all seen a pass under yellow,if it cant be helped thro blocked vision, but a true sportsman usually waves the guy thro again, unless your a super sportsman like guy martin ,who at the tt is all for his (version) of fair play

If Guy did pass under a yellow flag, why didn't the officials disqualify him?

I am a massive roads fan, and think Ryan deserves the recognition for his achievements, but think starting on Guy is just for the media attention!
