RR » TT2012: Island king McGuinness forced to wait for 20th win

'In the Supersport race, I just wasn't fast enough on the day. Conditions were good apart from a couple of damp patches but it's not always beneficial being number one on the road as you don't have anyone to gauge yourself against' - John McGuinness

Mickey D just done him on a slower bike in the 2nd 600ss and given another lap in the superstock would have done him also. In Mickey's own words ' I have only myself to blame' leaving his charge through the field too late. Don't get me wrong McPint is a great TT rider for whom I have the greatest respect but on equal machinery I think Mickey D would be and is much quicker. He proved it at the UGP as well.
