Does anyone know if this will be shown on TV? ITV4 who've been showign it all week don't have anything listed for tonight, but surely they'll show it, it's the big one!

as far as i'm aware, Geoff Duke has a monopoly over the TT. restricts the tv coverage so it doesnt impact his DVD sales - if you notice, the ITV4 coverage is piss poor highlights of highlights.

Its high time it changed. Its 2012, i want to watch it live and enjoy it. not find out who won, and then watch it several months later.

Geoff Duke has nothing to do with it, his son Peter runs the Duke video company. Your comments are ill-informed. The logistics involved in covering it live are huge, nothing to do with Duke.
The ITV coverage is great, dont forget a few years ago we were lucky to any coverage at all. Fed up with people like you wanting to knock everything about the evnt.

I'll take ITV's highlights over the rotten NW200 coverage the BBC produced.

No Red Button coverage so it was iPlayer only and prone to dropping out, the helicopter coverage was frequently out of focus or so distant that you couldn't make out who was riding, and we had to suffer Seeley's whining constantly despite his three wins.

main event cancelled. what a piss poor way to run the iom tt. move the big race to the middle of the week so that it can be rescheduled in case of inclement weather..... having the big race run on the last day is a dumb thing to do. as for the lightweight tt... err.. load of ****e.

It's a shame the Senior has been cancelled, but good if it saves a rider. I think anyone who takes on the mountain course is a hero and if riders say it's not fit for racing that's good enough for me. It's good that the new Clerk of the Course is involving riders in the decision whether to go or not. I think as a spectator that the new man has done a great job this year.
