Coverage is available on BBC iPlayer although, as with the Degner radio documentary, entering "Ulster GP" in the BBC's own iPlayer site search engine returns "No results found". It's simply listed under "Bikes" for God's sake! You wouldn't have to try a succession of random search terms such as "Cars" or "Motors" in order to find the Monaco F1 GP. I had to go through their MotoGP page to discover the "Bikes" link for the Ulster road races. By ensuring their already limited motorcycle coverage is hard to find, they reduce the number of hits so they can then argue that what little they provide should be cut as part of their austerity measures while they waste almost a billion pounds transferring their staff to new studios in Salford.

M1M I could not agree more the BBC is a bunch of jokers, they have messed the real fans of bike/car racing so much it is unbelivable and have the cheek to tell us it is good for the sport.

As far as moving the Jobs out of the South East I can see the skills shortage coming a mile off, what a waste, just like they have done to our beloved sport.

A few Daily Mail readers on here, I see...

The BBC is not perfect, but their coverage of NI Road Racing is excellent. They're trying to broaden its appeal and I think that its working. It's fair enough to point out where the programmes are to be found for those searching, but it's always under the Northern Ireland area sport, after which it's straightforward.

To suggest that the BBC is ruining motorsport is hysterical.

Patrick D, Hysterical?

What do you call the desertion of F1 from terestrial coverage? when you have the other channels that could take over

How about moto gp the true fans want eurosport coverage as you get the lot full race weekend coverage. the BBC cant be bothered to show some of the races?

No fans get consulted in the decisions yet we get spoekn down to by people claiming it will help the sport :-( yet they dont give a toss
