So sad. I only met Luis a few times around the pits, hotel etc in Macau but he seemed a really nice lad. Condolences to his family, friends and team, Macau is an awesome place and we all know it is dangerous but it is a "must do" for any road racer. Take it easy out there boys. RIP Luis. Rocket.

So very sorry for his family. But he died doing what he wanted to do, living life to the full. RIP Luis.

Road racing is incredibly unforgiving. Sad to see this. RIP Luis. Ride free.

It is said all too often that you couldn't wish to meet a nicer rider in the paddock, but in the case of Luis this was quite true. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Luis.
