@Phil - it's typically poor wording from Crash, but I'm assuming they mean that no-one has won a superbike or senior TT in that period that McGuiness has finished. He retired in each of the examples you cited.

Surely the fact he started the races mean he was beaten surely? You start a race you're in it, if you don't finish you're beaten. I see the point of the article writer but its inaccurate information.

seems like a dream team...but mcguinness rote in his book how joey was his hero and he could never figure out how to beat him...micky d will be riteing the same when he does his book in years to come..
