'It's just come to that time now and it's no big deal. I'm happy enough with my career when I look back at it' - Adrian Archibald

About ten years ago, the national scene was some of the best racing to be seen, with Archie, Ryan and the sadly missed Richard Britton trading places at the front lap after lap, week after week.
Adrian has been a great road racer with plenty of trophies to be rightly proud of. I think he made the right decision at the right time. It's a strange mixture of sadness and gratitude for me when a great road racer retires, but obviously preferable to injury and worse.
Many thanks Adrian, for your efforts and dignified successss over the years.

Adrain is a nice guy and at 43 years of age and with a small race buget it was the correct decision to make. Have a happy retirement but it would be nice if he could advise a young rider and i am sure he would have a lot of experience to pass on.

well done Adrian and thanks for the memories from a great career. Sadly there will always be pieces of cr-p like snell who bad mouth true heroes of our sport who are prepared to lay it on the line.

He did the right thing. With road racing becomming so dangerous (todays SuperBikes are so fast, most roads can no longer hold them safely...), and a sponsorship exercise, he called right.
