I've met David at the CW race school and i've seen and spoken to the boys at WK bikes and i would like to wish them both the best of luck in their pursuit of TT lightweight race and the fact that the shop i work in are going to be selling WK bikes and a good showing a the TT would be good for sales

These comments sound exactly like my old man when the Yamahas first turned up at the TT. Dismiss them if you like, and I know it takes a lot more than horsepower to make a racing machine, but their street bike is already making 5 HP more than a comparable Kawasaki. Geez, why are motorcyclists so scared of change?

50 Horse out the box, compared to an SV knocking out 65, Thats a lot of tuning to even get comparable figures to a stock SV.
This bike aint going the distance, Nice lad but to be fair to Dave he would ride a blackpool donkey if it was a free ride, I feel this donkey is a ride worth avoiding.

There is no way in hell you can compare the Chinese bikes to the Japanese bikes. From day one the JAP bikes were quality and built to high standard.Every Chinese bike I have seen, ridden or worked on are junk. They are built to a price and not to a standard. The Chinese will sell millions of cheap bikes and scooters but have shown no ambition to build anything where they need to compete on quality.

Intheknow clearly is in the dark.

This bike is based on the ER-650, albeit a copied chassis and engine. Websites claim that it's producing 70bhp.

I'd expect a lot of Farquhar's custom supertwin parts to bolt straight on! Wouldn't be so quick to write it off.

Anon ....Claimed !!!!! Need I say any more, probably at the crank too by some miss informed journo who has his info from the importer.
I have seen the bike, I have also seen the dyno print out for one out of the Crate. It looks like its been welded together by a blind man. You cant polish a turd but you can roll it in Glitter, It still wont look nice, the fact remaims that its a turd.
