if i was doing my first ever tt race i would not want to be doing it on a superbike!!!
these so called lesser races are where the future are cutting their teeth.
why bother riding the norton mick if you only want to win ?

ishe saying all the 125 and 250 races his father and uncle won over the years mean nothing??? there should be other classes besides superbike, not sure about supertwin but maybe moto3 type bikes should replace the 125, takes just as much skill to win on a small bike, just ask Robert Dunlop.

Micky is pretty bang on with his comments !!!!!!
Supertwin racing is neither exciting or cheap.

Spot on gixerboy, it's great for all the jokers calling him fat, to be fair he ain't no bloater, stocky as **** and hard as is nearer the truth, he is having it this year, the old guard need to look out. Yes to racing bikes , gp 125/ 250. Moto 3 ect... No to shopping sheds...

I'm also sick of the the fat jokes, unless you pull out of his slipstream down the sulby straight and fly past your comments smack of jealousy.

He says the twins aren't cheap which is true and discribes it as a cheap win because it isn't a competitive enough class.

No argument there

David Jefferies and John Mcguiness. Size is less important in road racing than in other forms of bike racing.

Kind of agree with some of what he says. A supertwin is still a fast wee bike, but even with cheap forms of racing the closer to the front you get the more expensive it becomes. I know someone who spends at least a grand a year racing rc cars. Minitwin rules may have been a better way to attract more competitors but less impressive stats.

I like the supertwins cause I am fed up with the 600s that look and sound like superstocks that look and sound like superbikes (different number board backgrounds only). I miss the 400s and the 250s (not the 125s). If they can make anything with 2 wheels and an engine competitive then I like it!

Ganch !!!! lol.
Think everyone should give micky a break !!!!!
Alot of jealousy with the slating he gets ,
Hes worked and trained hard all winter so far, def alot lighter and leaner.
No one can say hes embarrasment ,maybe he was abit loose in the mouth at times, but youll see a diff side to him now .
The fellas young gets alot of stick ,but you cant knock his ability on a bike !!!!
Ive read a few comments lately on other forums that cryin ryan has said ,about william being no use and there being no top roadracers left !!!!!
Not much said about that.
