Fans...lol..dont make me laugh, these guys are not fans just freeloaders.Time the law is changed in N Ireland to allow the organiser's charge for the meetings.I buy a programe and a badge not much for a great days entertainment. So all you "fans" with short arms and deep pockets....HELP OUT where you can or we will see roadracing go to the wall......

I do know that there meetings going on between the sport's governing bodies and local government officials to bring in legislation for clubs to charge admission but unfortunately this is least a few years away.

i read that its actully the high increase of spectators who are claiming on the organisers insurance after tripping over fences or holes etc.for personal injury and that.bet some people look fo holes to fall into...huge blow for the sport :(

USA fan. Feel lucky you can have these kind of races in your area. In the USA "road races" of this style are never allowed due to insurance/liability reasons. There are a few exceptions like "Battle Mountain" Nevada roadrace (cars only because a Hayabusa blew the cars away the 1st year LOL.) I think there's a car only race in Nebraska every year as well.

There are also a few old airbase runway top speed "mile" events. But that's it. All the rest are closed course or nothing. I envy you folks being able to watch "real" roadraces. Watch all I can on YouTube otherwise they are not broadcast. Consider yourselves the luckiest enthusiasts in the world!!! Cheers from over the pond...K
