he's going to have to fight for a win. Young Dunlop is now coming of age and Honda have signed him knowing he can do the job as he has already proved. I think Michael Dunlop will take John to a new level and maybe outside his comfort zone.I think he has won the mental battle already. I just hope they all provide good safe racing and at the end of the week all go home safe.

John MCguinness is one of the worlds top road racers and as such has to be given the utmost respect for what he has achieved but age is catching up and there is a queue to take his mantle, Michael Dunlop is at the front of that queue. Honda have recognised that fact and that is why they have signed him. There are a lot of other top riders hungry to win the Senior, Guy Martin, William Dunlop, Connor Cummins, Tony Rutter etc and all capable of winning. I just hope they all keep it safe and give us good racing.

You know elsewhere on crash net there is all the F1 talk about Monaco and we know how dull that will be. Then here the TT is about to get underway and just thinking what these guys are going to do makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. There will be some great racing this year for sure - can't wait to see all those TV slo mo replays.

This is proper motorsport! Safe racing to them all.

@dave. How disrespectful. Cos you're a legend of road racing aren't you! I bet you wobble round your local roads on your panigale being passed by the kids on their scooters. Prat.
