Jon I think the most important factor is the rider In this case just like Johnny Rea in wsbk Mickey D can ride it. These two seem to be able to ride the blade beyond its limit.

Also it might be worth noting that TT bikes have different regulations to wsbk, i'm not sure how much difference this makes but it could be a factor.
Honda are very good in BSB as well. The blade is a decent bike imo.

Honda have the money and that's that. As they can essentially buy out the top six road racers in the world, that's what they do. Makes it a bit less interesting, to be honest. just like a big football club buying the best players. When the pitch is more even, we know the fireblade is over the hill. The TT is about riders and teams.

Have you not noticed the the factory Honda Always is light years above any other bike at the TT, have you not thought that strange considering how rubbish they are everywhere else and good Kawasaki are at the moment, also BMW .

If you listen to any onboard of the factory Hondas it is obvious hey are able to put way more revs in top gear ,its almost like an overdrive. Almost like.......cheating!

The only difference this year is they have let someone else use the same bike as JM sort of an, in with the new out with the old and look whats happened as soon as sm1 else gets the same kit!

I bet sm1 is livid

I think the Honda superbikes that the TT Legends use are specifically built with one thing in mind, to win at the TT. They're not the same as the Fireblades that run the Samsung or Pata colours and they're not the same as those that are used by the TT Legends team in the endurance championship.

well the tt legends are superb at the ISle of man, but im afraid are below par in endurance. I think mcguiness is not suited to the short circuits, but mickey d proved hes fast as any of the other teams. I think a good endurance pairing would be Mickey D, Kiyonari and jason o halloran. Otherwise its a waste of a really good factory bike
