'The opportunity came along to work with Ryan Farquhar, who puts out some of the best bikes on the grid, so I simply couldn't say no' - Danny Webb

Nice to see a "high profile" (haha) circuit racer tackling the Isle.

But as a GP racer, I think it is REALLY optomistic calling Webb one of Brittain's brightest young talents if he has only managed a 5th in 7 years on the circuit...

Even tall Redding managed a win in the smallest class.

Not much cop on short circuits so maybe he will be a natural on road circuits. That can happen and arguably the likes of Michael Dunlop, John Mcguiness and Guy Martin for example prove my point.

Haddock - He was around for several seasons so yes, maybe I do have high standards. These days you have to really get results otherwise you are out. Thtas the harsh reaility Im afraid.

This boy has had very good results given that he has never had the best tackle in one of the most competitive classes of GP racing.Give him a couple of years and he will be up there.Good to see a quality recruit to the road racing world, lets have more circuit racers coming to world of real racing.

I have a lot of respect for anyone that takes on the tt course. It's always great to see short circuit guys make the switch to roads as it doesn't happen too often! Hope he goes well and stays safe.

I believe Danny or more specifically his manager has made a terrible mistake in choosing this option for his future racing career.
It would have been better if he had struck a deal with PTR as he was showing good promise on the bike during his short time on it.
Having said that he has struck up with an excellent team and if he listens to Ryan he should come through the experience unscathed.
