Thoroughly nice fella who just goes about his business. Had a number of chats with him at the TT over the years and he always made the best of any situation.

Nice to see him able to 'walk' away with his head held high. One of the most under-rated (due to his quiet and unassuming nature) riders on the Road Race scene.

On equal machinary (proper factory stuff) I reckon he still had TT, UGP and NW200 wins in him.
