Cameron Donald leaves Relentless Suzuki

Cameron Donald opts to leave Relentless Suzuki after three season together.
Top road racer Cameron Donald and Relentless Suzuki by TAS have announced the termination of its partnership following the culmination of the 2010 season.

The Australian has raced for the Irish operation for the last three seasons, but following his run to eighth position at the Macau Grand Prix, the decision has been taken to part-company.

Donald joined the team for the 2008 season, winning the Superbike and Superstock Isle of Man TT events and finishing second overall.

Insisting there is 'no ill feeling' between the two parties, team manager Philip Neill wishes Donald success in the future.

“We had a largely successful relationship with Cameron during his time at Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing, and we must admit, he was a joy to work with. This is very much a joint decision and I must reiterate, there is absolutely no ill feeling. We wish him well in the future. The team is currently looking for a suitable replacement, but we will not rush our decision.”

“I'd like to thank Hector and Philip Neill and obviously Suzuki and all of the team's loyal sponsors for their support,” Donald added. “We had a great partnership, but I now know it's time to take a different direction. I also would like to thank the guys in the team who worked with me and were very much part of my success at TAS Racing this past couple of years.”
