Classic TT: Monday's schedule postponed until Tuesday

Deteriorating weather conditions on the Mountain have led to the postponement of Monday's Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix race schedule until Tuesday
Monday's Classic TT schedule has been postponed until Tuesday due to weather conditions on the Isle of Man.

Clerk of the Course Phil Taubman made the decision shortly before 9.30am after initially intending to hold the Classic TT Lap of Honour and the Okell's 350cc race.

However, deteriorating conditions on the Mountain left the organisers with no choice but to cancel the programme, with the Motorsport Merchandise F1/F2 and Manx Grand Prix Newcomers races held over until Tuesday along with the 350cc race and Lap of Honour.

Tuesday's schedule will begin with the 350cc race at 12pm with the Lap of Honour at 1.30pm and the Formula 1 race pencilled in for a 2.45pm start.

The Manx Grand Prix Newcomers race will take place in the evening from 6.30pm.
