The second day of racing at the 2010 Southern 100
The Dunlop name once again dominated at the Southern 100, with brothers Michael and William taking victory in three of last night's six races.

Fears the second night of racing at 2010 Southern 100 could be disrupted by wet weather were dispelled as the clouds dispersed and roads around the 4.25-mile Billown course began to dry.
The programme featured four scheduled races and the Ratcliffe Butchers 600cc race, postponed from Tuesday evening due to bad weather. All races were held over six laps.
After his spectacular practice performance on Monday evening, it was no surprise that William Dunlop led the way in the Mann Auto Car Sales combined 200cc/650cc race. He took the victory after a nip-and-tuck battle with Manxman Chris Palmer, the Honda 250cc-mounted pair split by just 3.3 seconds at the end of the race.
Ryan Farquhar was third home on his 650cc KMR Kawasaki, taking class honours by more than 20 seconds from nearest rival Dave Moffitt on the Suzuki.
There was more joy for Dungannon's Farquhar as he took a dominant victory in the Corlett's Trophies 600/1000cc race, his 1000cc KMR Kawasaki finishing almost 23 seconds ahead of Honda-mounted Michael Dunlop, with TAS Suzuki's Cameron Donald coming home third. The first 600cc home was Wayne Hamilton, ninth overall on his Track Day Tools Yamaha.
William Dunlop and Palmer were once again locked in a tight battle during the Station Garage combined 125cc/400cc race, finishing first and second in the 125cc class on their Hondas and separated by less than a second. The pace of the pair, both lapping at an average of around 90mph, was so good came close to being first home on the road, with only 400cc Yamaha-mounted Roy Richardson able to better them – taking the outright victory by less than six seconds.
Ross Johnson and Peter Simpson, both on Kawasakis, were second and third in the 400cc class, while Honda-mounted Phil Harvey was third in the 125s, more than 26 seconds down on second placed Palmer.
Still on a high after taking victory in both sidecar races at the 2010 Isle of Man TT, former World Champion Klaus Klaffenbock and experienced passenger Dan Sayle took a stylish win in the Vehicle Sourcing Centre Sidecar Race. Pre-race favourites Ian and Carl Bell had to settle for second, 15 seconds down, with Simon Nearyu and Jason Slous third.
The programme came to an end with the postponed Ratcliffe Butchers 600cc Race, and, once again, it was the Dunlops at the sharp end – with Michael beating brother William to the victory by just 0.864 seconds. It is only Michael's second win at Billown, his first coming in Tuesday's Total Oil Senior Race. The Yamaha-mounted brothers were more than 10 seconds ahead of third-placed Ian Lougher, his Blackhorse Kawasaki taking the flag just 1 second ahead of Farquhar, with Mark Buckley fifth and Donald sixth.
Just one incident was reported, when Isle of Man rider Andy Cowin came off at Stadium on the last lap of the evening's final race. It is understood he was taken to Noble's Hospital by air ambulance as a precaution and suffered only minor injuries.
The final day of racing, Championship Day, will see the machines back in action from mid-morning.
