Meanwhile, Dungannon's Ryan Farquhar wrapped up his incredible 2009 season
Guy Martin overcame a tough weekend at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough to winthe International Gold Cup Trophy for the seventh consecutive year.

Riding Tommy Hill's spare British Superbike machine at the 2.43-mile public road circuit, the Hydrex Honda ace suffered a spill on Saturday and endured a number of technical gremlins but it all came right in the feature race and he was able to lead from start to finish to take another popular win.

Meanwhile, Dungannon's Ryan Farquhar wrapped up his incredible 2009 season with yet another victory at the weekend when he took his 61st win of the year at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough.
Despite being hindered all weekend with his continuing hand injury, Ryan took an excellent win in Saturday's Superbike race whilst third place in Sunday's second leg saw him win the coveted Darran Lindsay Trophy.

William Dunlop also had a successful weekend, taking three victories in all, collecting the 250 Lee Pullan Trophy and the 125 Stu Reed Trophy for two firsts and a second place in the three round series over both days.

Whilst there were no changes in the top six in the Rankings, Ian Hutchinson moved up five positions to seventh. Michael Pearson climbed two places to ninth, as Conor Cummins slipped back to tenth.
Moving into the top twenty were Daniel Frear up eight to 13th; Lee Vernon slotting into 15th, up 12 places. David Bell moves into 16th a climb of 9 positions as Adrian Archibald moves into 20th slot an upwards movement oftwo places John McGuinness' ends his season in 22nd, advancing 17 places.

Further upward movements at the conclusion of the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup Road Races, the final
event of the 2009 Duke Road Race Rankings Series include Wayne Hamilton, winner of this year's Irish Junior Support Championhip, up nine places to 26th; Davy Morgan up 3 to 29th; Kiaran Hankin in 30th place up 13 places; Sam Dunlop up from 40th to 33rd; Mike Minns up from 53rd to 42nd; Mick Goodings up nine from 52nd to 43rd; Ivan Lintin climbs 25 places from 71st to 46th, whilst Peter Wakefield moves up a massive 43 places from 90th to 47th.

In all 130 riders have amassed 100 points or more during the twenty-four round series and in total 405 have been
awarded points throughout the series.
