He is going about it the right way,and has the right support team. It is wrong to assume that short circuit racers take their manic fairing bashing to the TT. in general they don't. A mate of mine has won a national championship on the shorts, then went to the TT and has taken his time to learn the place. Got his first top ten in his third year and is now looking to push. If Josh does the same he should be fine.
As long as he doesn't do a Simon Andrews! Too quick too soon and all ended very predictably. Plater got away with it, but uber talented all round rider.
