@bigmart - Misunderstandings happen, no problem. My post was actually agreeing with you that Norton spending cash on two TT riders and bikes is neither sensible nor profitable, and maybe not even ethical. I was adding the point that they were not spending the profits from selling bikes, they were spending the Government grants which were intended to sort out their suppliers and solve their outstanding orders.
Like yourself, I'm pleased to see Brit bikes on the Island, and was overjoyed when Jack Valentine took the V and M Triumphs there, and triumphed. But Norton should have fulfilling their orders as top priority.
