Agree with pp916, what would pulling out of the event achieve. No rider would ever expect his team to do that, there are plenty of other ways they can show respect for him. Also banning the TT is not the way to go, people say things like this when someone is killed in other types of motor sport. All the riders and drivers know exactly what they are doing once they cross the start line whether it's in practice or the real thing. Majority of them just live to race and their family's support them wholeheartedly.
