Adams dominates Masters at ‘home.’

6 September 2010

On home territory Christophe Adams proved to be unbeatable in the fourth round of the Rotax Euro Challenge Masters class at Genk in Belgium.

Adams was untouchable throughout the weekend, setting the fastest time in qualifying; winning all three heats and both point scoring finals with room to spare.

In the 14-lap pre-final around the spacious 1350-metre Belgian venue Adams led from start to finish and crossed the line five seconds ahead of Finland's Mikko Laine and British veteran Florent Lambert.

The Sporting Kart Competition Tonykart driver was imperious in the longer 17-lap main final although Laine was able to keep Adams' winning margin down to a more respectable three seconds.

Lambert once again completed the podium, more than a second behind Laine but more than three seconds ahead of fellow Briton Melvin Francis with Frenchman Alain Guesdon rounding out the top five.
