Concern has been raised by a number of would-be competitors, who plan to be riding at the Fore MCRC's Walderstown National Road Races on 11th & 12th July and then travel to the Isle of Man for the Southern 100 International Road Races which commence on Monday 13th July.

The Southern 100 organisers have been in contact with the shipping company, who after taking into consideration the vessels sailing schedules has stated that it will not be possible in this instance to amend the scheduled sailing from Dublin at 18.15 hours on the Monday.

The organisers are now in the process of amending practice and race times to ensure that any competitors making the crossing on that sailing will have sufficient Practice/Qualifying periods to enable them to be able to race at the 2009 Southern '100' Road Races.
