Twenty-five students from Northern Regional College (NRC) will be supporting Ireland's largest outdoor sporting event from Sunday 9th to Saturday 15th May, as the Race Week Festival for the North West 200 gets underway.

Over 800 people volunteer at the North West 200 in various roles and this year NRC students completing the National Diploma in Travel and Tourism, are assisting in the areas of hospitality, paddock administration, ground maintenance, leaflet distribution, signage and promotional activities for Action Cancer.

The students are volunteering as part of the 'We Want You' campaign funded by NITB's Major Event Fund Programme, to encourage the next generation of volunteers.
