Cal Crutchlow has become the latest high-profile motorcycle racer to confirm his presence at this year's Isle of Man TT by taking part in a parade lap of the mountain course.

The 25-year-old, who currently lives on the Isle of Man, is enjoying an impressive rookie MotoGP season with Tech 3 Yamaha having risen through the ranks of the British Superbike Championship, World Supersport Championship and the World Superbike Championship.

He is amongst a number of big names to be visiting the TT this year, including Mick Doohan and MotoGP rival Nicky Hayden, with whom he will take to the course to complete the Arai parade lap.

"As a resident of the Isle of Man I'm obviously aware of the importance of the TT Races. I've been round the course many times but I've never had the chance to lap on a closed road. I'm really looking forward to experiencing the mountain course close up."

TT and Motorsport Manager Paul Phillips was delighted to be inviting Crutchlow on board.

"Cal approached us when he heard that we were scheduling a parade lap for Mick Doohan and asked if we could accommodate him at the same time.
