Ryan Farquhar has no plans to move outside his comfort zone at the 90th anniversary Ulster Grand Prix this week.

The KMR Kawasaki rider has enjoyed a superb season on the roads, winning the inaugural Supertwin races at the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT.

Farquhar intends to scale down his plans as the season reaches a climax and will sit out the Superstock and Supersport races at the Ulster GP, opting instead to focus on the Superbike and Supertwin events.

The Northern Irishman has an opportunity to complete a clean sweep of Supertwin victories at the three main international road races on Saturday, but Farquhar isn't entertaining any premature thoughts of victory.

"I'm not going out to break records at Dundrod because I've had a good year and I'm starting to wind things down," he said.

"It would be nice to win the Supertwin race at the Ulster Grand Prix to complete the hat-trick, but I'm not thinking like that or putting any pressure on myself.

"I'll just take things as they come this week and I'm not going out to break any records.

"We made a massive improvement with my Superbike at Armoy although there are still things I want to try. It's such a tough class and you're up against so many good riders on good bikes, but it's got to the stage now where you'll never win a Superbike race on a 'stocker," he added.

Farquhar's KMR team-mate, Jamie Hamilton, will also compete in the Supertwin races at the Ulster Grand Prix.

Hamilton faced the possibility of missing the 650cc races at Dundrod after damaging his ER6 in a crash at Armoy last month, but his machine has been prepared in time for the final key international road race of 2012.

The young prospect, who claimed his first victory at the Southern 100 on the Isle of Man in July, will also ride a Kawasaki ZX-10R in the Superstock and Superbike races.

Practice for the Ulster Grand Prix and Dundrod 150 meetings gets under way tomorrow.

Final practice and the Dundrod 150 national meeting will be held on Thursday as a warm-up for the main event on Saturday.
