William Dunlop has joined a star-studded line-up for the Classic TT races this year.

Dunlop will ride for Davies Motorsport on a 4-cylinder 500cc and 350cc Honda machines.

Founded by ex-racer John Davies, the team will also run Alan Oversby on 500cc and 350cc Hondas.

A seasoned Manx GP competitor, Oversby has five podiums to date on the Mountain Course including a race win in the 2006 Ultra Lightweight Manx Grand Prix.

Davies Motorsport was founded in 2006 after ex racer Davies decided to come out of racing retirement to try his hand at classic bike racing.

John Davies competed at the Manx GP between 1978 and 1997, in a total of 33 races and finishing as high as second place, and collecting 27 Silver Replicas.

He teamed up with his nephew Colin Davies, a Grand Prix racing technician, to help him build a Honda 350K4 race bike.

They have since added a Drixton 500 Honda and the 4-cylinder 500cc Hondas to their stable.

"We are delighted to be a part of the new Classic TT Races and are really looking forward to competing in 2013," said Davies.

"I'm really happy with the riders that we've got on our bikes this year. It will be a real honour to have a Dunlop racing in our colours while Alan is a really consistent performer around the Mountain Course."

"John Davies' Hondas are a real work of art and will really add to the sights and sounds at this year's inaugural Classsic TT."

A host of top TT riders including John McGuinness, Conor Cummins, Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin and Cameron Donald are set to compete in the Classic TT races this year.
