Dan Cooper will ride for Tsingtao WK Racing at this year's Isle of Man TT races.

The Gloucester rider joins the team after a rewarding association with Centurion Racing, with his former outfit deciding against competing this season.

Cooper, who previously raced for Tsingtao WK Racing in the British Supersport Championship in 2011, will compete in all classes a the TT in June, including the bikesocial.co.uk Lightweight race for the first time.

The English rider will compete on the WK650i racer, which made its debut in the class last year in the hands of Australia's Dave Johnson.

Cooper's machines have been prepared by MSS Kawasaki and he is aiming to surpass his best TT result to date of 10th position in last year's first Monster Energy Supersport race.

"I am now able to relax a bit after getting the deal all sorted, and want to thank Dave [Tyson, team manager] and his team for the opportunity to ride in 2014," said Cooper, who finished on the podium in third place in the 350cc race at the inaugural Classic TT in 2013.

"Their bikes will be competitive and we will also look to do as many [British] Supersport rounds as I can to ensure that I'm ready for the roads.

"This is a real opportunity for me to move forward knowing that after a great relationship with Centurion I am in that family orientated team again with guys I know."
