Practice for the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix was called off for the second night running on Wednesday.

Two unconnected incidents at the 13th Milestone resulted in the opening session being red flagged and the organisers later opted to cancel practice due to the length of time required to clear the scene combined with worsening weather conditions on the Mountain Course.

Michael Dunlop (114.29) on the Team Classic Suzuki and Dean Harrison on the Steelcote Solutions Kawasaki were the only riders to complete laps in excess of 110mph ahead of Russ Mountford on the Silicone Engineering Racing Kawasaki (109.72) and Michael Rutter (105.47).

Only one session has been held so far, taking place on Monday, when another red flag incident involving Andy Bowman at School House corner caused a delay.

Bowman sustained reported arm and leg injuries in the spill but practice did resume afterwards.

Ryan Farquhar was credited with the fastest lap on the Winfield Harris Yamaha on Monday at 117mph with Ian Lougher (Paton) and Michael Rutter (Ripley Land Honda) quickest in the 500cc and 350cc classes respectively.

Better weather is forecast on Thursday and Friday on the Isle of Man ahead of Saturday's opening Bennetts 500cc Classic TT.
