'Family fun night' at Weymouth.

This Saturday sees Weymouth Speedways first 'Family Fun Night' with special group tickets on sale offering huge discounts on the evenings entertainment.

These Saturday meetings are an all inclusive family fun night deal! A bouncy castle, face painting, photographs with the riders and games will all be on offer. Families can purchase this special “Family all-in-one Ticket” for just £30 for the selected Saturday night meetings. The ticket includes admission for a family of four, snack food for all the family, a drink for Mum and Dad from the Cats Whiskers Bar, a soft drink for the kids and match day programme. We are hoping these Saturday 'Family Fun Nights' will give the whole family an inexpensive night out by offering fantastic value and a brilliant night of entertainment for everyone.

Not only is it the first 'Family Fun Night' but what better opponents could their be than our local rivals, the Plymouth Devils. This is the first time Weymouth and Plymouth have meet since 1968 and, with former Wildcat Tom Brown in their line up, we will be in for a highly entertaining meeting.

Phil Bartlett, Wildcats Chairman said “We have had three fantastic home meetings now, the first one was a last heat decider, the second one saw us through to the second round of the Knock Out Cup and last week we turned over Oxford. All three have been full of some of the best racing you will ever see in any League”.

Phil added “Plymouth are flying high at the moment and are unbeaten so far this season, but they way our lads are improving we could well be top of the Conference Trophy table next week!”

Please note the meeting starts at 7.15pm not 7.00pm as stated in previous press releases. However, the gates will open at 6.00pm and we are asking people to get here early to take advantage of the entertainment as well as get the chance to have look round the pits and meet the riders.
