Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo admits to hankering after a return to top flight competition at Le Mans during the Scuderia's Christmas celebrations.

If this happens it will be the best news I have heard for a long time. I was at Le Mans in 1965 when Jochen Rindt and Masten Gregory won in the NART 250LM and they have been missed ever since despite a short interlude with the 330SP back in the nineties. The sports car World Championship deserves to have the best teams not just Audi and Toyota. With Porsche coming back it would be good if Jaguar/Nissan and a few others joined in to ensure that it was worthy of the title World championship.

wow for the days of the P4's the P3's , P250's , 250LM's 250GTO's, ,512's ,so many cars going back to the 50's, 60's, 70's , 917's 936's 956's ,962's , on and on if they all came back who needs F1 boredom ?
