tel: Better than f1

Of course it is. But it's impossible to persuade your average stubborn ignorant F1 fan to widen his horizons and watch also some other racing series than just what is served by the mainstream media. Sports car racing is for REAL motorsport fans.

This was such a good race. The start was amazing. You see more action in the first 10 mins of the race then the entire F1 season. Evenly matched cars of different manufactures fighting for first place. Amazing

I hadn't been to Silverstone since the 2006 WSB race but it's another planet now.
It was a very well planned event, with buses laid on to take you to different parts of the circuit, and all the kids entertainment, dodgems, karts, fairground stuff etc was free. There were tents in which you could sit and watch on the big screen if you wanted to.
I thought £40 entry for me and free entry for my boy was good value.
Plus the racing was excellent.

This is quite possibly the ugliest thing I have ever seen on four wheels. Admittedly it's from an unflattering angle, but.....I thought race cars were also supposed to look - as far as possible without sacrificing performance - cool, and something that you would WANT to be seen in. This looks like an ice cream truck in Hyde Park on a Sunday afternoon! I agree that the racing is terrific, but how does the FiA expect to actually sell a series when all the cars look about as aerodynamic as a Beluga whale? Perhaps I'm missing something here....
