Organisers of the British GT Championship have confirmed a series of tributes that will take place this weekend at Brands Hatch in memory of Allan Simonsen.
The Danish driver had been part of the paddock since 2004 as the long-term driving partner to Hector Lester, with the duo having taken seven victories across the years.
This weekend's event will be the first to take place since the 34-year-old lost his life in an accident during the Le Mans 24 Hours, giving the paddock the opportunity to pay its respects to the Rosso Verde driver.
Ahead of the two-hour race, the front row of the grid will be kept clear while a 60 second roar of engines will also take place.
Every car on the grid will also run with modified door number panels to carry a special tribute in Simonsen's memory.
