The Chinese KCMG team has named the first two drivers for its first full season in the World Endurance Championship this season, which will include its return to the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Matt Howson will return with the team in the #47 ORECA 03-Nissan having been a key factor in its WEC outings last year, while Richard Bradley will team up alongside him having raced for the team in Super Formula in 2013.

Bradley also competed in the rain-affected WEC event at Fuji and was part of the line-up that then tasted victory in the three hour Asian Le Mans Series race at the same venue.

The third driver in the line-up will be revealed in due course.

"We have worked with Richard and Matt in previous motorsport campaigns prior to our involvement in WEC and Asian Le Mans," managing director Paul Ip said. "Both have shown commitment and versatile prowess as drivers and I'm pleased to have them represent KCMG in our first full season in the World Championship.

"We have yet to announce our third driver but so far, I'm already confident that we have a strong line-up with Richard and Matt."

Both drivers were understandably pleased at news of their roles for the season ahead, with Bradley in particular pleased at the chance to move into the WEC for the 2014 campaign.

"I am delighted to be able to join KCMG for this year's World Endurance Championship," he said. "After the team's strong showing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and WEC rounds at Silverstone and Fuji last year, we can be confident of having a good season ahead.

"I'm looking forward to working with Matt, Maarten [De Busser - WEC team manager] and the whole KCMG crew. More than anything, I can't wait to kick off our campaign in front of my home crowd at Silverstone in April."
