Fans of top level sportscar racing will be able to benefit from the news that Motors TV is to move onto the Freeview platform in the UK.

From around midday today [Thursday], the channel will be available to anyone with a compatible internet-enabled Freeview HD or Freeview+HD product, with the broadcaster making use of the Connect TV facility to enter an increased number of UK homes.

The move means fans of the World Endurance Championship, United SportsCar Championship and British GT - amongst others - will be able to keep up to date with racing action over the course of the season ahead, while the likes of the WRC, V8 Supercars and Motocross will also be readily available.
