Memo Gidley moved for next stage of recovery

1 March 2014

Memo Gidley has been moved to a San Francisco outpatient facility this week as he continues to make progress from the injuries sustained in his accident during the Rolex 24 at Daytona last month.

The GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Corvette driver has spent almost three weeks in the Santa Rosa Memorial Acute Rehabilitation Center, but will now begin daily rehabilitation sessions at an outpatient program near San Francisco.

The facility offers care in an apartment style setting, while allowing him to be transported daily to the center for physical therapy.

Gidley remains positive and in good spirits as he enters this next stage of his recovery. He also continues to be thankful for the prayers, thoughts and well wishes from friends, family and fans.
