M-Sport Racing's Humaid Al Masaood and Steven Kane will sit out the second round of the 2014 Avon Tyres British GT championship this weekend at Rockingham.

"Due to personal reasons, Humaid Al Masaood was forced to miss the opening races at Oulton Park. With these matters on-going, the team has made the decision to withdraw from the Rockingham fixture," explained a statement from the Cumbrian firm.

"M-Sport Racing is now aiming to be back for the third round at Silverstone (31 April - 1 May), in which Steven Kane and Al Masaood will showcase M-Sport's Continental GT3 on the legendary asphalt."

"Although we might not be competing at Rockingham, we will still be there in a supporting role; ensuring that our valued customers at Generation Bentley Racing have everything they need to secure a strong weekend for the Continental GT3."
