Rubens Barrichello has been praised for doing "a fantastic job" as he won the Brazilian Stock Car Championship in Curitiba.

Still the most experienced F1 driver of all time, Barrichello - who was lined up to race for Caterham at the end of this season - switched to the Brazilian Stock Car Championship in 2012 following his final race for Williams.

Having started the final round of the season in Curitiba on pole position, Barrichello dropped from the lead to fourth place as the result of a spin on the opening lap. However, he was able to fight back to take third place on the road, which was enough to give him the title.
